The case comes with 3 mdf shelves that have a ferrous layer on top so that you can magnetise your miniatures to it so that they are secure.
Storing this way can be very efficient. For example each shelf can hold upto 25 x 32mm based miniatures.
you can adjust the position of each shelf to allow the appropriate height for your miniatures.

The ferrous material on the shelves allows you to add magnets under your miniatures bases. the more magnets you add the greater the attraction to the shelf. so lighter plastic miniatures can have less magnets than heavier metal models.
