This box is part of a range of vintage style boxes.
The box has faux leather panels. The large panel on the top of the lid can be custom engraved. example engravings in the pictures. the bottom of the box is wood with no paneling.
These boxes are made in small batches and as such will have limited quantities available at any time.
The large box is designed to organise your card collection. It has 5 rows with removable dividers that can store thousands of cards either sleeved or unsleeved.
There is an area under the lid securing arm that can be used to store those bulkier items or smaller deck boxes.
It also comes with 2 trays that have magnetic lids to keep the contents secure. The first magnetic lid Tray is larger than the other and is designed to hold instruction books and other larger items.
The smaller magnetic lid tray has 8 sections that are designed to keep your tokens, dice and other small parts securely and organised.
The box measures approx:
There are 5 rows for cards that measure 265mm each and 1 row that measures 275mm.
The box can therefore hold upto approx 2800 sleeved cards and 4000 unsleeved cards depending on how many dividers are used. This does not include the other storage areas of the box.
Please note: the boxes are great for storing and organising cards but the boxes are decorative in nature and as such when storing lots of cards/heavy items in the box, the box should be lifted by the actual box and not by the handle. This will avoid excessive strain on the handle.
The lid can be customised with an engraving of your choice.
Please specify in the notes when ordering if you want the box engraved or not.
For best results a true black and white image (not greyscale) will produce the best results for engraving.
The boxes in this range come with the inserts fully assembled so that the boxes are ready to be used straight away.
The box lid is secured shut with 2 metal clasps.
The vintage style of the box gives a great antique style look and as each box is hand made each box has its own unique markings.
So please bear in mind that the markings, joints, joint gaps, screws, nails, knots in the wood, staining, soot/dust in the engraving will be unique to that box. The markings and unique features are not faults, they are the unique characteristics of that box and all part of the hand made rustic/vintage nature of the item.
